Diarmuid McDonnell - Diarmuid received his BBs in Information Systems in 2010 and is now a researcher on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) for the University of Aberdeen. Based in Glasgow, Diarmuid is working with the Co-operative Education Trust Scotland (CETS) to produce educational resources focusing on co-operative, mutual and employee-owned models of enterprise for use in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Hugh Donnelly – Hugh is Director of the Co-operative Education Trust Scotland (CETS), an educational charity that produces resources focusing on co-operatives for students and teachers alike. He has been involved in the co-operative and employee ownership movements for the past 25 years, holding roles with Co-operative Development Scotland (CDS), Employee Ownership Scotland (EOS) and the European Federation of Employee Share Ownership (EFES). Along with Elizabeth Macknight, he established a Knowledge Transfer Project (KTP) between CETS and the University of Aberdeen to develop tertiary level educational resources on the topics of co-operatives and employee ownership.

Elizabeth Macknight - Dr Elizabeth Macknight received her BA (1st Class Hons.) from the University of Tasmania in 1998 and her PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2003. She was subsequently awarded a Bourse de Troisième Cycle by the French Government, which enabled her to complete a DEA with distinction at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in 2004. In 2005–6 she returned to teach in the Department of History at the University of Melbourne, before taking up a lectureship at the University of Aberdeen in January 2007. She is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and in 2010 was selected as a participant and prize winner in the Scottish Crucible programme sponsored by NESTA, the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and the Scottish Funding Council. She is the lead academic for the KTP project involving the University of Aberdeen and the Co-operative Education Trust Scotland.
