KTP project details

The Co-operative Education Trust Scotland (CETS) and the University of Aberdeen are working together to promote understanding of co-operative, mutual, and employee-owned business models within tertiary education.

It is our belief that the co-operative option should be available and utilised in every university course that incorporates enterprise in all its forms.

This project is funded through the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships scheme. It will result in the development of new materials designed for use in universities that will be available on an open access basis. These materials include resource packs for teaching undergraduates and postgraduates, a toolkit for young entrepreneurs, and placement projects.

The University of Aberdeen and CETS will work with Co-operative Development Scotland (CDS), which is a subsidiary of Scottish Enterprise, and the Scottish Institute for Enterprise (SIE) to market and promote the materials through workshops, training, and seminars.
